Frequently Asked Questions

  • Individual sessions are $120 for 50 minute sessions. We accept credit card or e-transfer.

We have a few slots available for sliding scale pricing. Reach out to nastasia.psychotherapy@gmail.com to discuss this option.

  • Many clients are able to use their extended health benefits to cover psychotherapy with a Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP-Q).

Coverage depends on your specific insurance plan, so it’s best to check directly with your insurer. Receipts are provided for reimbursement.

  • Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. It’s completely okay to feel nervous or unsure. The first session is an intake session, which means it’s a space for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Before the session, you’ll receive intake forms as well as information about confidentiality and practice policies, so you won’t be expected to go over everything from scratch during our time together. In the session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping for from therapy, and any questions or concerns you may have.

There’s no pressure to have the “right” words, to share everything at once, or to know exactly where to start. My role is to help guide the conversation, offer support, and create a space that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative as we begin working together.

  • A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) has completed their formal psychotherapy education and is in the final stage of registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). They are fully trained, registered, and practice under professional supervision while completing required hours.

RP (Qualifying) therapists are held to the same ethical and professional standards as fully registered psychotherapists.
